Connecting with Climate Action in Qatar

The Doha Climate talks drew to a close on Saturday 8th December, a day later than planned.

Unfortunately the extra day didn't reflect an increase in ambition and the talks were widely greeted with disappointment that no progress was seen on increasing cuts to carbon emissions or providing the climate finance that poor countries need to adapt to climate change.

Join our stunt to show that Green is Working!

We're inviting the whole Stop Climate Chaos coalition (and many others) to come together to show support for the Climate Act and our flourishing green economy.

9.30am -12 on Thursday 18th October, Central London.

The stunt will bring together over two hundred high profile and diverse people. Chief Executives and representatives of SCC member organisations, faith groups, celebrities, green industry and others from across civil society will come together to show the strength and breadth of support for the Climate Change Act and the green economy,

Alternative Conference for the Rio+20 Summit

During the Rio Connection week of action, Campaign against Climate Change with the School for Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) Department for Development Studies are running an alternative Rio+20 conference, taking place at the central London Universities - SOAS, the Institute of Education and University College London.

On Yer Bike - SCCS event outside Scottish Government offices to highlight cuts to cycling and walking budget

Over 350 people, most of them on their bikes, gathered outside the office of the Scottish Government on Wednesday 11th January to urge Scottish Ministers to increase funding for cycling and walking instead of funding expensive road-building programmes that will increase Scotland’s carbon footprint.
